I lost it you see
The poet in me
I used to be good at the things that I wrote
Its all gone now because id rather smoke
I lost the creativity that drew from my hand
It was replaced by drugs and blew away like sand
I lost myself way up in the sky
I left myself there because id rather get high
I lost all these things and forgot my own name
I got high just because I escaped from the pain
