let your heart win

walking a race before the start line,
my breath is airless my heart falling
behind.

love is from the heart,
anger's from the core
I failed the race sometimes before.

blood pumping thick and blue,
this is not code red
it's something new.

say you know how to win
lose to your greed ,
and bare out of sin
i am blessed again and again.
