A dog and his bucket

there was once a dog from nantucket,
who got his head stuck in a bucket.
he tried to remove it and failed,
and stepped on his tail,
so he finally just said f*** it.
There once was a bucket named Fred
And in it a dog stuck it's head
The dog's head was stuck
and poor Fred out of luck
A curse word was what the dog said

A friend of mine posted the first limerick as his status on Facebook, and when I commented saying I enjoyed it, he said I should write one. I googled how to write a limerick, and decided to write one from the bucket's perspective. It has inspired a limerick war, and lots of laughs.
My friend gave me permission to post this.
