As we lay my Uncle down to rest,
I know in my heart it's for the best.
Without a doubt he loved us all,
But it was his time to answer God's call.

He's up there now with the angels above,
Smiling and laughing, receiving God's unconditional love.
He left in a hurry, but I know not to worry,
Because my Lord Jesus knew, his life was through.

In my heart he will always be My Uncle Mark.
And to my dad his best friend Fred.

Memories were made with that man,
And he was always there to lend a hand.
In this lifetime he is now gone above,
But with every passing day he still gives us his love.

Our lives now are forever changed,
But sometimes we have to deal with the pain.
Without a doubt he loved us all,
But it was his time to answer God's call.
