"A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song."
~Maya Angelou

The sun makes the moon reflect light
On shadows and hills in the night.
But the mystery is
For the dumb and the whiz,
How the moon causes dreams to take flight.

Though the darkness seems less under ray,
Is it true fear, in light, fades away?
Perhaps it could be,
From the sun we should flee
To escape the exposure of day.

Though the shadows of night darken rooms,
The extents of our minds start to bloom.
Through the hours of cold,
Dreams don’t dare to grow old.
Thus, the night isn’t full of just gloom.

These are thoughts to consider in full,
Though your doubt or resistance may pull.
Keep in mind that this stays
An opinion that weighs
The ideas and truths that we hold.

Notice: This is purely an idea, a reflection of what is commonly thought. However, I don't believe that it should be taken extremely seriously; I was just mulling over all of the interesting dreams I've had lately. Thanks!
