Meaning of Christmas

Christmas
Means presents under the tree
But it also means more than just
Gifts for you and me

It is also the birthday
Of our Lord's only son
His name is Jesus
And he bears gifts for everyone

But not the kinds of gifts you would think
Not a toy train, nor a Nintendo Wii
But he came bringing faith, love
Salvation, and Christianity

Sure we all love gifts,
Both giving and receiving
But remember the true meaning of Christmas
Though the rest may be deceiving

Away in a manger
Our savior was born
It is him we celebrate
It is him we adorn
