Promice

I hear a promice in my head
Each time I walk these halls
It echos deep inside my past
Through stubles, blunders, falls
Through past wrongs, the life forgot
The life I leave behind
The life You hold within your hands
The life that isn't mine
Through these halls, I'm not alone
I walk with promices love
There is no rain, no scar, no need
for more than Him above
God, you hold my promiced heart
Untill it pleases thee
Do not let me fall astray
My life is more than me
I hear my promice whispering
Throughout a lonely place
But you have never left my side
You give me hope and grace
Father, I await Your day
I guard my heart for he
The one who's waiting just beyond
The one You chose for me
