Standing with my heart in your hands
Living a life that no one understands
Being in love is a waste of time
It’s just having someone stuck in your mind
Your smile changes over to tears
Is there something I didn’t make clear?
Sweet dreams turn into nightmares
All I can do is just stare
Loving you is not just a phase
It will soon end my day
Sorry that I wrote this
I just thought you might want to know this
Now to end this poem
Before I must be going
All I have to say is
Even though we are friends I still love you anyways
