Gray Face

This is what you see me as,
This color in my face.
You call me white all the time,
But remind you it’s not a race.
Put a mouth upon my lips,
A nose, some eyes, ears, a face,
Then paint my whole body gray,
And tell me of my place.
I can’t help what God made me,
But my personality can change.
If everyone was the same color,
Would we still think the same about race?

this is great! :) i loved how you used the color gray to eluminate the "race factor". lol, it's very clever :D and everything in the poem is true. the rhythm is great and the flow is amazing! :) i like the question you posed at the end....more people should read this :) great poem!! check out some of my work if you could, i would love your opinion. great work...5 stars :)
