Softball
                  Watching the pitcher
             Flying by at lightning speed
                  Sand flying off glove

                 Moving like the wind
             Crackling sound as it flys
                 Past the lifting dirt

                 Sprinting down the line
             Turning hard around the bag
                 Echoes in the stands

My life is very revolved around softball and it's hard to talk about how much it means to me to my classmates, friends, and teachers. So instead of them listening about it, I wrote this poem so they can read and understand how much this sport impacts my life and how I've learned to grown not just as an athlete but as a person.
