Favorite Quote:
Do you need a little darkness to get you going?

I must be quick, dear
Fleeing from this space in heart
Legs will soon follow.

The fatal ballet
You and I dance on the cliffs
Up the mountain, steep.

Diana's own pull
Delivers death before you
Lay it on my lips.

Softening death 'fore
Dewy morning comes, and I
Chase another stag.

The author's comments:

I was inspired to write this piece after reading the Aeneid, and seeing how Dido (the queen of Carthage) is likened to a wounded stag.
