It’s depressing how
we spend so much of our time
wishing time away.

This is a very stunning and thought-provoking piece of work! It honestly caught me off guard for a second because when I was reading it, I was hit suddenly with the weight of how much time I spend in my life wishing it would go by faster...wishing it would just be the weekend already...wishing Christmas would come faster...wishing a class would just end already...it made me realize I should live more in the now and not wish for the future. Thank you so much for posting this!!

This is so true. Wonderful poem. You fit so much emotion and made the reader think in just a few words. Lovely work! Never stop writing.
