My hero in pink.
Nothing I would not give to
Carry her burden.

The author's comments:
When I was a little girl I used to complain about going to the houses of our relatives because I thought it was boring. My father always used to remind me that I should spend as much time as I could with my relatives now, because if I didn't, some day I would feel like I didn't get enough time with them. I didn't understand that truly until I lost my grandfather to skin cancer. Now that my mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer, I feel that I must spread the message.

Spend time with the people you love while you have them. Put down your smartphone. Turn off the TV, gaming console, and computer. Hang out with your parents, grandparents, siblings, cousins, aunts, and uncles. They deserve time with you and you deserve time with them. Take it while you have it. After all, in both the beginning and end, all you really have is your family.
