these hazy hours

I.
These hazy hours,
dozing off and on in the
company of friends,

II.
surreal six am
bedtime Bob Dylan peace of
knowing we’re alive,

III.
And in the morning
I made the coffee too strong
and we said goodbye

IV.
to the sweetness of
a midwinter’s weekend’s dream,
and of growing up.

I don't really get to hang-out that much with my friends. So envisioning what you portray here in this poem for is so enjoyable. I especially like the images of the strong coffee (I'm a coffee person; I think Dr. Drew might invite me to be on his rehab show; too bad it's canceled) and the image of Bob Dylan. I love his music. The images are peaceful. And frienship couldn't be better portrayed than here.
