We are all in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars- Oscar Wilde

Hope is a blinding
ray of sunshine that comes from
deep inside your heart

@EatWriteSleep I suggest you talk to Hanban12. She does an awesome job on her suggestions. :D Also here are some advice I would say: 1. Good job on the topic which I loved the idea of hope as a candle (Spoiler: my haiku is actually about hope, like yours!) 2. I find it really hard when I read the first line when the word "ray" is split from the words "of sunshine". What I suggest is to say, "Line 1: Hope is starlight" maybe???? Also change the picture from candles to stars, if you want to. 3. Overall, good job and don't stop typing/writing.

You're very welcome! :) I feel like I should've put a little more, so here I am - I feel the exact same way and love the way you put it into this poem. Awesome job! You totally earned the publication!

It's very true and you wrote it beautifully in only a few words.

The structure of this poem is very good. It vaught my interest and I decided to read through one or two of your other works, and it's really obvious that you have a talent for rhyme and structure (: The only thing I would say is that the idea of this poem is a bit cliche. Comparing hope to sunshine from the heart is something that has been done a lot. Hope is a tricky subject to write about; maybe you could try comparing it to something original, I'm sure that would go beautifully with your sentimental and flowing voice.
