People don’t listen,
Especially to haikus
They count syllables


I’m not a racist
This kimono is comfy
Oh, I get it now.

Nothing ruins rain
Like being the one loser
With an umbrella

I don’t know Morse code.
Dots and dashes mean to me,
World War II was hard

She snapped a photo
Unfortunately for us,
It was the last one

Five syllable phrase
Now one with two more than that
Now we’re back to five
