"Don't be the wave that crashes." "Get in my belly!"

BA-BOOM! CA-CHOW! A
Fearful rumble of thunder,
As if lightning stalks

Him as prey. Angels
Bowling some say. Their war of
Collision vibrates

The ground beneath my
Toes; pinpricks against my bare
Skin. The sensation

Travels up my veins
And spreads through my limbs. Lightning
Again streaks across

The sky. Its brightness
Invades the shrouded darkness
And creatures of the

Night scurry away
From its grasp. An attempted
Escape of thunder

Quakes through the stillness.
Birds flee from their nests within
The surrounding trees.

Wind blows, lifting my
Hair off my neck and shoulders;
Its cool caress sends

Shivers down my spine.
Fallen leaves become swirling
Tornadoes moving

Up towards the black sky.
The smell of oncoming rain
Fills my nose. Damp and

Thick; I smile. Come
Inside! I stay rooted where
I stand. My arms lift

Up from my sides. My
Eyes gently close, I tilt my
Head back. The heavens

Tear open with a
Roar, soaking me deeply. A
Laugh escapes my mouth.
