Sitting all alone
This throne carves an endless hole
The price I pay, woe


The author's comments:
I finished reading Julius Caeser and the fact that he was betrayed by those he thought to be friends, due to the power he had, inspired me to write this poem on the true effects of power and the burdens it lays upon those who posses it. Most powerful people don't have people to depend on, not to sound corney, but they don't have true friends.
