Favorite Quote:
"Your future is an empty canvas just waiting for that first brush stroke."

How have I failed now?
What I've done? Or what I said?
I will never know

Nothing fills my heart
Emptiness, all that I know
An utter failure

A gray sky above
Frigid air stings like a ray
A cold heart inside

I cannot go on
I will not live in this place
Not with you here too

The shock of my life,
Master of all I survey;
My electric throne.

Invisible rope,
Dangling from the ceiling,
Beckons me. To what?

A harsh, chilling gale
Hardens my tear-worn visage
As I walk, alone

I wrote most of these for English class last year, but I saved the paper I wrote them on. What I love about haiku is that it let's you present a simple idea, but challenges you to use exactly the right words.
