Moon drowns, moon wanes, hides away
Back again, the waves

The author's comments:
I had an assignment at school to write a haiku and sijo. I had made several drafts for my haiku and ended up with the one I'm publishing now. Everybody who read this haiku said they loved it, so I didn't feel like limiting to the people in my school, so I decided to have it published and let other teenagers such as myself enjoy it too.
