A Losing 'Fit'

You have no idea
About when you fear all food
Hunger is beauty

When full you feel fat
Eating is the enemy
She will dissuade you

She's always with you
Yelling you can't do enough
You need to eat less

Soon some becomes none
And your weight just keeps falling
Still it's not enough

Trying for perfect
Family begins to notice
They tell you to stop

But stop you cannot
Ana is still in control
Draining you of life

Skinny is okay
But skin and bones is perfect
Ana only laughs

Was she worth the pain?
Is perfect really worth it?
Ana calls again

Brings you to your knees
You're just so huge and useless
In truth there's no fat

Your family freaks out
When your body hits the floor
Call for help they yell

Get her a doctor
Someone has to hold the cure
They all rush around

You fall in and out
From troubled dream to nightmare
It all fades away

Was it all worth it
All the pain and suffering
Dying for beauty.

For years I have had issues with not eating right or enough... This was like a journal entry to make me step back.

Wow this is a really great poem. I know exactly how that is.
