A Freudian slip is when you say one thing but mean your mother.

Winter born creatures
Skate on frosty glass dewdrops
Breathing foggy air

Autumn leaves falling
Gracefully to the ground
Crunching beneath me

Summer heat rises
From the blacktop driveways
Soaking shirts in sweat

Spring fever arrives
To greet the world and announce
The birth of new life

The author's comments:
The haiku is my favourite form of poetry.

Thank you so much! I really enjoy haiku, it's a passion, so it's really cool when someone else enjoys them! C:

I thought that your haiku was better than some of the ones that got into the magazine! Keep up the good work!

Thank you for your input!

The seasons are all cyclical; you can't have one without the other, so I wanted to keep all my seasons together to express that more.
