A Fall Season

November 20, 2009
By Anonymous

I wake up
open my eyes
i feel a shiver run down my spine

the grim sky
Looks down upon
the orange and yellow leaves

Pumpkins Smile as
Scarecrows stare
ku ka ku ka ku ka

it is night
children running around not themselves
house to house begging for candy

it is evening
the turkey an gravey
give a warm sensation

i open my eyes
there is snow on the ground
fall has left us

The author's comments:
fall is one of my favorite seasons. So i thought it be appropiate to write a poem in the haiku form to show the love i have for it. i hope people can identify the the transistion that takes place showing fall change to winter
