The leaves slowly start to fall
Autum is coming

Put on a sweatshirt!
Cold, brisk September weather
Is fast approaching

Red leaves in my hair
I flung myself in the pile
And started to laugh

Children aren't happy
School is once more in session
Teachers, back to work

Falling in the wind
The leaves crunch beneath my feet
I enjoy the sound

Yeah, I agree with M.A.C. Maybe it's because most of it sounds happy and then you get to the part about school...Great imagery, though.
