Horses out yonder
how i yearn for their freedom
Texas, my Texas, Dear home.
Hair blowing in breeze
grass gently brushing my legs
Texas, my texas, sweet home.
cowboys tip their hats
i politely nod hello
Texas, dear texas, MY home.

Omg, this is a perfect description of Texas! It makes me homesick!

:) this makes me think of when me and my friends are down in Matagordia, by the coast, sitting in the breath and watching the birds fly by.

Really good job!

Having lived in Texas eight years I can relate to the poem, and it was very well written, but why are the lines 5, 7, 7 instead of 5, 7, 5? Sorry, I don't mean to criticize, it really is a very good poem.
