“You are cold,” says He who has sewn
in me
that which is His own and winters’.
Winter that unfurls sinful men
from its sorrowful gaze.
Dare to pull humanity
from the depths of the blizzard you’ve grown.
Seeking the heart you froze,
and tore away with hands of stone.
You may call me cold, Frankenstein.
But you created me
In your likeness.
