The Ecosystem Inside of Me
Butterflies
and Dragonflies
and All-The-Things-That-Ever-flies
are worming away inside of me.
You can feel Them if you place your hand
here.
There, can you feel Them:
the Hummingbirds plucking at my heartstrings,
the Bees stinging my stomach,
the Dragonflies clunking around in my skull,
the Butterflies choking me in my lungs,
the Ladybugs living up to their name in my lady parts.
I swear to God you can feel Them
worming Their way around inside,
if only you touch me.
