There is so much to learn about a pointe shoe
The box
The Demi pointe
The heel
It’s beautiful on the outside but
Hides all the pain for within
It shelters the toe pad for inside
Leaves marks on the floor for all to see
Wait for the blisters to heal
Train for the proper technique
Straighten your legs
Sew with patience and persistence
Feel the music
Dance with your heart not just your feet
Don’t trip or buckle
Stay on pointe
