The instructor said,
Go home and write
a page tonight.
And let that page come out of you---
Then, it will be true.
I wonder if it's that simple?
I am fourteen, have blue eyes and brown hair, and was born in Boca Raton
I went to school at Pine Crest, and now at North Broward Prep
From a distance you would see me as a quiet, reserved kid
But if you come close I am funny and warm
I walk from the middle school to the lower school to my Mom everyday
Then we walk to her car together and head home
School is about 20 minutes from my neighborhood
When we turn in you just keep going straight, and my home is the
one on the corner.
We then pull up to my one story, medium sized house and unlock the door.
I walk to the last door in the hall and sit down to write this paper.
My life is pretty simple, but what wouldn’t be simple at 14
years old. I live in Boca, but if you think of Boca Raton girl that’s not what I am.
I am not a rich, spoiled girl, who just enjoys shopping,
But am a caring hard working girl
I like to eat, sleep, watch Netflix, and listen to music
I like, to read, learn, and understand life.
I like a normal iPhone for Hanukkah
or clothes---Shorts, shirts, and dresses.
I guess being small and a little quiet  doesn’t stop me from not achieving anything
I am not only on the dance team, but worked my way to be the captain of the middle school team.
So what color will my page be?
Will it be yellow to express my happiness
Will it be blue, purple, or gray
It will be all of the above, to show all my different sides of me
Maybe you would not pick those colors instructors, but yet a part of me, is a part of you.
We are both learners
Sometimes perhaps you don't want to be a part of me.
Nor do I often want to be a part of you.
Sometimes maybe you would not like to be in the classroom teaching and maybe I do not want to be in your classroom learning sometimes
But we are here, and  that's true!
As I learn from you,
I guess you learn from me---
although you're older---and know many more things than me---
and I know I am not you and you are not me
But this is my page for English B.
