The hiding place of rain shivers underneath

the sweetness of the sun's smile.

When you toss sadness to the wind,

it returns as a splash of colorful air.

Close your eyes and imagine perfection...

     The song of cotton candy?

     The taste of blooming spring?

     The fragrance of love?

If you turn hope on high,

you'll see the creation of your wildest dreams.

Imagine if whenever you heard a bird's song or felt the wind, a shade of blue or a triangular pattern filled your brain. The idea of synesthesia, or when one's senses are twisted or crossed, is what inspired me to write this poem.
