Can't Help Falling in Love

You put a bullet through my halo
With your stupid smirk

You drowned me in the ocean
That is your eyes

You are a steady structure
Like that of a skyscraper

Something I can always lean on

You blinded me with your smile
And now all I can hear is your laugh

I fell for you the way Thor fell to Earth

You shine like the stars
You light up my heart

I rolled my dice and bet my money
Man did I hit the jackpot
Ready! Aim! Fire!
Shoot an arrow through my heart
Man did it hurt
When I realized how stupid I am

I broke the rules falling for you
I broke everything I stand for

I hate you
And what you do to me

I lost in this battlefield of love
And I am still picking up the pieces
It's was a direct hit like battleships
And I lost the game

Late night phone calls
Random texts at 2:30 in the morning
Round the clock meme tagging
Talks about life in the back seat of my car

You mean so much to mean
More than you will ever realize
More than I should ever care about anyone

I want to say that I hate you
I want to say that we can't be friends
I want to say that I don't want you in my life
I want to say that I don’t need you

But I can't lie to you

Because reality is
I love you
I need you
And I don't ever want to lose you

You mean the world to me

You ruined my life
With your stupid smile

But seeing you smile
Makes me happier than
Taco Tuesday

I fell for someone
I shouldn't have

I fell for the one person in this world
I knew I couldn't have

You run laps around my mind
Like you are training to be an olympian

I hate how vulnerable you make me feel
I hate how you can still make me laugh even when I’m mad at you
I hate how you never leave my side
I hate how your smile makes my heart flutter
I hate what you do to my head

I hate the fact that I don't hate you at all
