Alone in a Crowd

Today, in this crowd
I am alone.
My thoughts coming in one by one
As fast as the speed of light
On the inside, I am raging
Internally battling and doubting myself.
These conflicting emotions spill out
Struggling to stay hidden in the deep corner of my mind
As the hours go by,
And the people around me continue to enjoy their day
I continue with my inner monologue
I am stuck in the frenzy of my mind.
Although on the outside…
I look content.
