These crumbling
These crumbling, shuddering
These crumbling, shuddering, breaking walls

Collapsing
Falling
All around myself

Submerged in the dust of the old
Bathed in the light of the new
No longer confined by the rules of now

Peeking through the cracked structure
A smoldering glow rising through the gaps
A new age on the horizon

Setting foot in the luminous qualities of the world
Absorbing the richness and enriching food of life
Letting the taste trickle throughout my senses

The possibilities now in my power
The enlightenments are within reach
The stepping stone to a new age

To evolve
To show
To be what I have become

The author's comments:

I wanted to write about my sister graduating high school/myself getting closer to graduating, and how we'll view/impact the "new" world in front of us. Basically, becoming a adult and movin away from school-in a way.
