As I leave off to sea
Only photos to please my memory
Pictures of the past me
And people I used to see

I move on to new heights
Seeking something new
Making new pictures
Creating new memories too

Pictures to refresh my memory
To remind me of my past loves
To remind me of my family

The sea becomes tipsy turvy
Everyone is in a scurry
Things begin to fill
Children cried out in a shrill

Nobody knew what to do
There was nowhere to go
Water filled every room
There nothing you can do

Soon

There are no more memories
There are no more shrills
No more pictures
No more me

The author's comments:

I don't have a specific style for poetry. I just write for fun, sometimes to express how I feel. At the time when I wrote this poem, I felt like was I drowning myself with my constant emotions and anxiety over nothing.
