to him
to him, She was disposable
easily replaced
easy.
but to the world,
to us She was everything
the moon creeping from behind the clouds
after Her wild storms
She wasn't the sun,
only because She was
dirtied and beaten to the
point where She could no longer
shine
She wasn't the stars,
because there was no
twinkle
in Her eyes anymore
She was the moon,
dark, mysterious
always partially in the dark
praying that no one would shine a
bright light into the unknown

A few months ago I was going through a rough patch, and I started writing quite a bit. Everything I wrote was just a way to get words flying through my head into a permanent, contained area and thats how I started. This came after I was at the lowest of that low point and I feel like this is probably one of the strongest out of everything I've written. Enjoy:)
