from a girl with a broken heart
as the tears form in my eyes
i begin to realize,
you didn’t care they were there
even when you were why
it was never even a thought in your head
when you’re alone in your bed
and you’re supposed to be sleeping
we both know you’re weeping.
that’s one thing we have left in common
one year i spent with you
one degrading,
friendship ruining
miserable
year.
and i thought it would be you
i thought it would be you to
walk me down that isle
that’s farther away now then a million miles
i tried more than you knew.
your favorite color was blue
you said it was because of my eyes
and how they sparkle.
now they sparkle with these tears
they drip down my face,
replace what once was dry,
to what now is an ocean,
without the breeze,
and without a tease
you left with that breeze.
