- What Matters
Some days, I wish I was four again running around the house with my american girl doy.
Some days I long to be in that backyard playing hide-n-go seek and king of the mountain with my brother.
Some days, I want to be at that dinner table with my mom, brother, and dad.
Some days, I imagine I'm back at that house.
Some days, I wish to be in that pool with my friends again.
Some days, I long to be in the corner of that room.
Some days, I want to be that little girl crying in my room just because my mom told me no.
Some days, I imagine I'm that little girl again.
Some days, I wish to be walking up that hill with my dog after school.
Some days, I long to be in our heated pool.
Some days, I want to be the girl who hung out with her best friend everyday
Some days, I imagine I'm myself again.
