Sorrow and Joy

1 Sorrows like the ashes
of a fire empty and withering away
2 Joy is the sunlight shining in
A beautiful park lit by hundreds of smiling children playing
3 As these are both emotions
Of a soul we really should be feeling
Thankful because one day all emotions
Will be gone
4 There will be a day when we will
Not open our eyes
There will be a day when we can't
Laugh or smile again so change the
World Piece-by-Piece and do not let
Anyone tear you down but let them
Build you back up and just hope that today
Will not be your last day here on earth
