Wandering through a wood
Moment after moment
Never ending
Many strange plants and animals
The lark singing her sweet sorrows
The bear sleeping until tomorrow
So many wonders to behold
A crimson bird glides from the heavens
Beginning a quest as cruel as night
Hunting the Goldfinch that had done no disservice
Until I detect the onyx which lay near my side
For this was the moment the Golden finch died
In the following era the white wolf cried
Giving birth to a cyclone which few could survive
Rain plunged from the sky cleansing the ground
Thus in the place the finch did lay
A tree took root and forever shall stay
For the sun has risen in this land
Bringing hope for all
Giving new life so we can stand
