As I sit back in my
Little wooden corner
I look out the window and watch the sky
Turn from cornflower blue to
Navy
And the towering trees become
Delicate silhouettes

The moon weaves its way
Up over the branches
A glowing pearl
Joining the blanket of stars
That pepper a sky
Who has turned black
