Dachau
Silence edges out the noise
As the whistle sings its haunting song
Every mind, tainted and innocent
Is exposed to the unenviable walk
The genocide graveland dwells
under the feet of those who are numbed
As the pain and sadness scream out to Those gallant enough to walk in their shoes
A pin drops as eyes fall
on the chilling, chiseled headstone
that masks a grave
of ten thousand unknown
