Crumbled pieces of shameful paper thrown in the trash

Lighters to set on fire and crisp pages turned to dark ash

Set it on fire to free me at last,

These pages remind me of my past, but the relentless pain will precede to last,

Think fast.


The author's comments:

This poem is about my secretness of what I write and how I regret sharing most of my work because it has a deeper meaning and makes me feel vulnerabled, but also how writing has helped me to recovery from major struggles.
