You only live once. But if you do it right, once is enough.

I had all of these terrible things written out. I planned to say them to you. I would look you in your perfect blue eyes, and spew out the words I have been wanting to say for years. These hurtful words have been in my head for near five years now. They have been tearing me apart piece by piece.
Once I got the chance to open my mouth and let bullets fly off my tongue, I choked. The bullets rolled down my throat. I got a taste of what the words would feel like if they were fired back at me. I stared into your perfect blue eyes, while mine watered from the pain of gunpowder in my lungs. You stare back with a smile on your face, saying, “you look great”, and “it’s so nice to see you again”. All I can manage to say is, “I have missed you so much. There is so much I want to say.” I start to open my mouth again, but a group of new friends pulls you away. My chance is gone.
