The Lazy Lizard
The hot bright sun beat down on the vibrant plants,
blocking the powerful rays from hitting all that is beneath.
One strand of light pushed it’s was through the dense brush,
striking a small patch on a great big rock.
There a lazy lizard laid soaking up the sunshine.
The light reflecting off its shiny green scales.
The day had just begun,
and the lazy lizard had all day to lay in the sun.
The air was humid and not a gust of wind blew.
The lizard was still, as it were a photograph for you.
The lizard was not to be bothered by any sounds or movement.
It just layed there enjoying the moment.
