Sweat drops from my forehead,
My red jersey clings to my hip,
All eyes are on me,
My eyes are on the goalie,
Her eyes are exhausted,
Her ponytail is dropping,
All is silent,
Except for my heart,
Beating a million miles per second,
The ref blows her whistle,
I run,
I step,
My foot connects with the ball,
The ball soars through the air,
Square in the center,
The goalie dives,
But she is too late,
The silence erupts,
With cheers of joy,
Our team has won the championship,
Game over
