Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School
65 students panic in the drama room.
They squish in a closet when they hear “shooter,” but when the fire alarm’s pulled, they run.
Someone yelled, “Get back in!”
The teacher attempts calm, but news spreads, texts exchanged.
We found out.
SWAT team came, students ran out, papers, school supplies, left in empty rooms
Feet run, red ink stains the floor. A tragedy.
Mom parked her car on the side of the road.
I called and we met near a grassy area opposite the school.
Finally, I found her.
