I pray

I pray the lord my soul to keep.
This blade is sharp, black rain it weeps.
A middling monster so I be.

Strength of arm bears truth defiant.
Strenght of heart gives lone reliance.
Eyes are sharp, to spy the debts,
Of so called royals, so called wretch.
But to my angel, I am the first.
My soul is stained from reddened thirst.

All I am is what is true.
Maintain balance, but I pray to you.
Sometimes the monster needs saving too.
