At least I have to be
No one sees
The hurt behind these wandering eyes
Trying so hard to get you to realize
I hurt too and it’s alright
I am allowed to feel
Just because I’m a teen doesn’t mean everything is over the top
In this case, it’s definitely not
I hide my pain
For to you, it is a graveyard
Full of skeletons to ugly to be seen
You push it back into the graveyard of my closet
Like it is its resting place
I don’t have much else to say
Other than one of these days
You will wish you would have listened
To the quiet plea
