Blue Kind of Love

Our love is full of colours
Red like the colour of the tint in my cheeks,
When he kisses me
He makes me happy,
And for once I see life through shades of yellow,
When he leaves love notes on post it’s
His hair is chocolate brown
On the night we stayed up,
Looking at the stars,
Wondering what the future will hold,
The glistening white moon shines on us,
He is the only witness to our love
His eyes are blue, like the tone of our love,
A sorrowful but understanding love
‘A love where we cry at 3am’ kind of love
We are broken, but I feel my pieces glued back in place when I’m with you
My eyes are blue, he always loved my eyes
Him and I have a blue kind of love
