I am laying on a table,
I am screaming,
“I’m still beating! I’m still beating!”
Though I know I amo not.

I am sitting in darkness,
A hollow atrium of flesh,
I cannot seem to beat,
I am the heart that has ceased.

My master was not pleased,
But without me they stopped caring,
Without me they stopping breathing,
Without me their life stopped flowing.

I am the heart that stopped beating.
I am the heart that killed they who did not take care of me.
